Bring it on, 2012!

Happy 2012!!! The Holidays were nuts and wonderful all at the same time. I will put up pics soon to show what made up the majority of our Christmas: babies:) I LOVE my nephews and niece! Anyways, like I said, I will talk about that later...

I just looked back at my goals for 2011, and I think I fulfilled maybe 4 out of the 10 goals. Wow, great job Janie. Plus, my goals were kind of lame because they weren't specific enough. You can check them out here..and see how lame they were. 2011 was a challenging year for both Scott and I. We were living in Greenville for most of the year, trying to figure out where the Lord wanted us next. Patience was not a virtue for me. Moving to St. Louis was a strong turning point for us. If I could use a few words to describe 2011, they would be patience, trust, and blessed. We had to be super patient waiting on the Lord, all we could do was trust him, and he has blessed us beyond what we imagined. The Lord is sooooo gracious!! I struggled a lot with God's grace this year, until the end of the year. It became more evident then ever and I'm thankful for that.

I'm really excited for the new year. I believe God has a lot in store for us and I'm ready for it:) I made goals again for the new year and I really hope I stick with it.

1. Read through the whole Bible (a goal every year:))
2. Memorize 10 verses
3. Monthly Challenges- January= be intentional
4. Read 5 books
6. find a mentor/mentee
7. stick to a budget
8. hang out with my brothers more
9. practice my guitar 1/week
10. run a full marathon in the fall (if my back is healed...my pelvis is out of alignment)
11. go on a mission trip with Scott

That's all so far...I'm still thinking of more, because I know I have more. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! I'm pumped for the New Year and I hope you are too!
